Terms of Use
Terms of Use governing accounts, profile content, communications, safety, payments, termination and use of Old Age Date.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using Old Age Date, you agree to these Terms of Use and the policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The current static website is a demonstration design. Before a live dating service begins collecting real member information, these terms should be reviewed by qualified counsel for the jurisdictions in which the service operates.
Age and Eligibility
You must be at least 50 years old to create an account under this service concept, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement. You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so. You may not create an account for another person without permission or misrepresent your identity, age, relationship status or location.
Account Security
If account functionality is added, you are responsible for keeping your password and login credentials confidential. Notify support if you believe another person has accessed your account. Do not share your password with a match or allow someone else to use your account. The service may require additional verification when suspicious activity is detected.
Profile Content
You are responsible for the information and images you submit. Content must be accurate enough not to mislead other users. Do not upload photographs of another person without permission, copyrighted material you do not have the right to use, private financial information, government identification numbers or content that violates the Acceptable Use Policy. The service may remove content that creates safety or legal risks.
Communications
Members should communicate respectfully. Repeated unwanted messages, threats, sexual harassment, discriminatory abuse, pressure for money, manipulation and attempts to move a person into unsafe circumstances are prohibited. A recipient may end a conversation at any time. Continuing to contact a person after they have clearly asked you to stop may result in suspension.
Offline Meetings
Old Age Date does not control what happens during offline meetings. Members decide whether, when and where to meet. We strongly recommend public first meetings, independent transportation and telling a trusted person about the plan. The service cannot guarantee the identity, intentions or behavior of another user.
Paid Features
If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Subscription features may renew automatically only when that has been clearly disclosed and legally permitted. Users should review the Payment and Refund Policy for cancellation and refund rules.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe a user has violated these terms, created a safety risk, engaged in fraud or used the service illegally. Where appropriate, users may have an opportunity to appeal. Serious safety cases may require immediate action without advance notice.
Disclaimers and Limits
We do not guarantee matches, messages, dates or relationship outcomes. Verification tools do not guarantee honesty or safety. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties that cannot reasonably be made for an online dating platform. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so local law may provide additional rights.
Changes and Contact
We may revise these Terms of Use as the service evolves. The effective date should be updated whenever material changes are made. Questions may be sent to support@oldagedate.com.
Additional Information and Practical Expectations
Policies are most useful when they are understandable and connected to the way a service actually operates. Old Age Date should review this page whenever features change, particularly when new account tools, payments, verification options, messaging systems, advertising partners or data-processing vendors are introduced. Users should not have to rely on outdated language that describes a different version of the product. Clear notices, readable headings and direct contact information can make policies more useful for older adults who may not be familiar with the conventions of modern mobile applications.
Questions should be handled respectfully and without unnecessary complexity. A member who raises a safety, privacy or billing concern should be able to identify the correct support channel quickly. The service should retain appropriate records of important requests while protecting the information contained in those records. Where local law gives consumers additional rights, those rights apply even if they are not repeated word for word on this page. Nothing in a website policy should be used to remove protections that cannot legally be waived.
Trust is especially important in senior dating. Users may be sharing emotional, personal and financial context with people they have never met before. The platform should therefore design features around caution rather than assuming that every interaction is harmless. Warnings about money requests, identity theft and pressure should appear in useful places throughout the product, not only in legal documents. Users should also have practical ways to leave conversations, block another member and seek help without being forced to confront the other person directly.
